Upper Keltney Burn

Today a little bit of staff training along with an exploratory mission of the upper section of a canyon where we go with clients, 6 km of unknown and very little escape once we were in. It was very dark deep in the canyon so photos were quite hard to get. Lots of trees and debris scattered the canyon but w it was still a superb place where very few people have ventured.

The walk in

One of the many fall trees blocking sections of the river

A fallen tree with fences and wire tangled up due to the high flows that occur after heavy rain

Scott having a bath

Mini gorge section

A potential little slide but it needs a bit of gardening

Scott jumping in after the long slide

Joe and Scott behind a little waterfall

Joe creeping up on Scott

Looking up at the mini gorge

A massive log jam spanning the whole river, very scary but quite impressive at the same time
